Since the late 1690s, various branches of our family lived through many of the major memorable moments of Virgin Islands history.
But, they also enjoyed wonderful moments filled with excitement and happiness!
Love of Family History
Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve been intrigued by genealogy and our family’s history.
Having this passion early on has helped me capture many of these stories. 🔎
Inspiration for the Blog
Early in 2015, I attended one of the largest genealogy conferences in the world, Rootstech.
The conference buzz was all about the importance of preserving one’s family history through story-telling.
Inspired by their message, I wrote and shared my first blog post!
Since 2015, I’ve shared over 200 stories!
Whether you’re an islander or a visitor, I hope you find these stories fascinating!
They are timeless nuggets of Virgin Islands history.
Help me preserve them!
Email them to your friends or share them using the social media buttons.
