Virgin Islanders have suffered through the devastation left by natural disasters for centuries! Plagued by hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes, they have fought back with a spirit of resiliency.

Although they didn't have access to the resources we have today, they cleaned up and rebuilt their homes, their communities and their lives.

As our family attempts to do the same in St. John, they are overwhelmed by one particular malady....the swarming of black, mosquito clouds that attack them incessantly!
